"We have the pleasure of partnering with Aspira for our Project Management learning in Three. ![]() In particular, Aspira's lecturers have been commended on their knowledge, breadth of experience and ability to convey it in a practical way in a classroom setting." The Diploma receives very positive feedback from trainees on a consistent basis. The trainers we engaged were very thorough and professional in the delivery of this course and had a vast array of experience and well-rounded skills and knowledge placing emphasis on the quality of training. The course also provides insight to the PMBOK© – the Project Management Body of Knowledge, which is the basis for CAPM® (Certified Associate in Project Management) Certification and the key reference work for the PMP® (Project Management Professional) Certification administered by the Project Management Institute (PMI®). The Diploma in PM includes detailed insight into the use of Agile methods to deliver projects, showing how Scrum, Lean, Kanban and Agile hybrids apply to different industries. "MTU Cork have engaged Aspira to form part of the panel of industry lecturers that deliver the Diploma in Project Management for the last 13 years. It has been a pleasure to work with their scheduling team. The Aspira team also worked with our internal team and developed their own methodology and playbook which we now use as the training base for our schedulers. They showed great interest and enthusiasm in gaining a full understating of the statements of work in order to produce technically accurate project specific schedules. Using that knowledge, along with a library of design schedule templates developed internally, they have been able to deliver exceptional results back to us. Aspira didn’t have this knowledge but they took it upon themselves to become familiar with our design processes and understand what was meant and what was involved in each task in our design processes. ![]() ![]() Projects can have numerous design inputs such as substations, underground cables, overhead lines, station control systems, civil and power system studies, so schedules can be quite complex and expert knowledge is needed in order to create a schedule. The schedules are critical as they are used for resource information, fee estimates and Key Performance Indicator reporting. The design schedules need to cover all elements of the design involvement in our capital expenditure projects and the design has to be scheduled & sequenced to meet construction dates. We engaged with the Aspira Scheduling team in 2019 to assist us in developing complex design schedules from detailed technical statements of work.
